Norris Cole

Metros de Santiago (LNB) signed 36-year-old USA international 188cm point guard Norris Cole (college: CSU). He played during the summer at Osos de Manati in Puerto Rican BSN league. In 14 games, he recorded very impressive stats: 15.1ppg, 2.6rpg, 5.6apg, and 1.1spg.
In 2011, he was drafted by the Chicago Bulls (NBA) in the first round (28th overall). He graduated from Cleveland State University, and it will be his 16th season in pro basketball. Cole has been regularly called to the USA Senior National Team since 2022.
He is a very experienced player. Cole has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). He has played professionally in China (Coleroes), France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket, Monaco and JL Bourg), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Italy (Avellino), Montenegro (Buducnost), Puerto Rico (Leones and Atleticos), Saudi Arabia (Ohod), Spain (Unicaja), NBA (New Orleans Pelicans, Miami Heat and OKC Thunder), Egypt (Al Ahly Cairo) and NBA G League (Grand Rapids Gold and G League Ignite).
Among many awards, his team made it to the Arab Club Championship Semifinals in 2023. He was also voted to Eurobasket.com All-French ProA Import Player of the Year back in 2020. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Metros.
